Matthew Flinders’ Voyage to Terra Australis, published by the South Australian Libraries Board, 1966. In three large beige cloth volumes (two text, one case of maps & charts). One of a number of high quality facsimile productions produced in the 1960s (others in our collection include Cook’s Journal and Voyage to the South Pole).
This particular copy is a genuine bargain due mainly to one of the charts (plate IV charting the South Australian coast) being a non-original, albeit very good photocopy.
There is also some silverfish nibbling to the clam shell box containing the charts and general discolouration to the cloth of the text volumes.
