Description

Patricia Highsmith was one of the greatest writers of crime fiction in the English language and The Talented Mr Ripley ranks as one of her finest. This is a very good copy of this iconic title published in London by Pan Books in 1960 (first UK edition by Cresset Press Ltd in 1957; original first edition published in the US by Coward-McCann, 1955).

Some marks to rear cover, with dark spot marking through the last few leaves; last page missing bottom corner; and minor split to outer spine (these faults pictured); pages age-toned; general minor signs of wear. Still “very good” description holds true for this 60-year-old paperback.

Quote on the front cover from the Daily Express reads: One of the most brilliant dissections of the criminal mentality I have ever read – we couldn’t agree more!
