By Captain C[yril]. Longmore (Author of “Eggs-A-Cook!”)

With Foreword by Lieutenant-General Sir John Monash

Published by the History Committee of the 16th Battalion Association, Perth, 1929. Octavo, xii (last blank verso of unlisted photograph*), 274 pp with 5 maps and 42 illustrations (many from photographs) plus 5 plates (including 3 folding panoramas).

The 16th Battalion, drawn up from enlistments in Western Australia and South Australia, was highly decorated, serving at Gallipoli and on the Western Front.

This book is one of the more highly-prized WWI battalion histories and ours is in very good condition, the only flaw worthy of comment being the missing front (blank) flyleaf.
