Description
Published by Angus & Robertson in 1930, this is a solid (but flawed) copy of the third edition of Norman Lindsay’s iconic illustrated book for children. As with all early editions of this book, this is a scarce item and is the first to be published solely with black & white illustrations.
Red cloth has some general grubbiness and small tears as pictured. Inner front hinge has a slight split near the bottom edge. Foxing and name on f.e.p. Interior text and illustrations in very good condition.
All considered this is a good example of a book difficult to procure and is priced to sell.
