This very large (elephant folio size) production includes twelve magnificent colour plates, bound in cloth with leather label, dustwrapper and still has the original (albeit very plain) slip case.

Published in 1979 by the Ariel Press, this limited edition printing is a selection of pheasants and peacocks painted by Joseph Wolf taken from the original monograph published in New York 1872. Edited and introduced by Adrian Thorpe.
