This book centres on Hanrahan’s two main printmaking phases: 1963-67 while studying at the Central School of Art in London; and 1975-86 (when this book was published). It also gives some background info about her life growing up in Adelaide’s western suburbs and references her other artistic talent as an author, but her prints take centre stage.
This limited edition (#142 of only 150 copies) comes with an original SIGNED etching entitled ‘Skipping’ (pictured) loosely inserted.
A wonderful production, our copy is in immaculate condition and eminently collectible either as a book or for the etching. The combination of the two is mouth-watering.
