Charles Blackman is one of Australia’s foremost artists and his series of Alice paintings, created in the 1950s, truly distinguished him.

This 1982 edition of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale is certainly a special one, being the first illustrated by such a renowned artist. Released intrinsically as a children’s book, it is difficult to find in the type of condition commanded by a book that has become highly sought as one of the most collectible representation’s of Blackman’s art.

Our copy is in very good condition apart from the dustjacket, which is sun damaged (as most often the case with this susceptible yellow jacket).
