A Moveable Feast – Hemingway [first UK edition]

This 1964 first UK edition (Jonathan Cape) is a welcome addition to the collector’s library. As with most of Hemingway’s novels, Cape have produced an aesthetically superior copy to their US counterparts. The beautiful dustjacket has a few chips but is in pretty good nick, as is the book itself.

Published posthumously (Hemingway died in 1961), A Moveable Feast is largely autobiographical and depicts his Paris days – a time and place of unmatched creativity as evidenced by the cast in these pages: Crowley; the Fitzgeralds; Joyce; Stein; Belloc; etcetera.
