Description

Published by Aboriginal Studies Press in 1988, Flinders Ranges Dreaming is the retelling of stories from the Adnyamathanha peoples by linguist Dorothy Tunbridge.

The book is prolifically illustrated with photographs of the region, people and other significant scenes and includes helpful notes on the language and background info.

An excellent copy of an uncommon book, it is signed by both Tunbridge and Pearl McKenzie – Tunbridge’s Yura Ngawarla tutor and storyteller, as acknowledged in the book. McKenzie also assisted John McEntee with his books on the language and place/animal/plant names.
